Beauty Changes Lives Scholarship
The Bellus Academy President, Lynelle Lynch, is Founder and President of the Beauty Changes Lives Foundation, an organization dedicated to changing the perception of beauty and awarding beauty and wellness school prospects with scholarships to attend school.

Mike Rowe Works Foundation
Mike Rowe, CEO of the Mike Rowe Works Foundation and a prominent advocate for skilled trades, established the Work Ethic Scholarship Program to support students pursuing trade and vocational education. Celebrating its tenth year, the Foundation has awarded another $1 million in scholarships.
Approved programs include cosmetology, barbery, esthetics, hairstyling, and nail technology.
Eligibility Requirements:
- Enroll in an Approved Program: Ensure your trade or vocational program is recognized by the Foundation.
- Sign the S.W.E.A.T. Pledge: Commit to the values outlined in the S.W.E.A.T. (Skills & Work Ethic Aren’t Taboo) Pledge.
- Answer Pledge Questions: Respond to four questions related to the S.W.E.A.T. Pledge.
- Create a Video: Submit a video as part of your application.
- Provide References: Obtain two references from a teacher or employer.
- Verify School Costs: Submit documentation confirming your educational expenses.
- Submit Transcripts: Include your high school or college transcripts.
- Tax Form: Provide your most recent 1040 tax form.

Bring Back the Trades Inc.
Bring Back the Trades Inc. is a nonprofit dedicated to providing scholarships for students pursuing trade school education. Their goal is to support postsecondary students seeking to gain expertise in a professional trade through U.S.-based trade schools.
Eligibility: Students across the United States attending trade schools can apply for monthly scholarships awarded by Bring Back the Trades Inc. during the academic year.
Application Process: To apply, visit https://bringbackthetrades.org/scholarship-application. Applicants must submit an essay or a short video detailing why they deserve the scholarship. Essays should be submitted via the form on the website, while videos can be emailed to steve@bringbackthetrades.com.
