TrendVision: 7-Year Streak
Bellus Academy educator Dorothy Wrightsman and cosmetology student Chloe Cheatwood will compete as finalists in Wella’s 2018 North American TrendVision Award Competition in Las Vegas on July 16th.
The honor of competing in North America’s most prestigious color competition continues a seven-year streak of Bellus Academy team members named as TrendVision finalists/winners. Bellus Academy educator Matthew Hom earned top honors in 2012, taking home Team USA’s “gold” award for color!
Among the more than 3,400 entries in the 2018 competition, both Wrightsman and Cheatwood scored in the top five for #CreativeVision and #Student categories. They will compete live on stage at Caesar’s Palace, alongside finalists from the U.S. Canada and Puerto Rico.
“Bellus Academy is honored to have team members named finalists or winners every year since TrendVision was introduced in 2012,” said Lynelle Lynch, owner of Bellus Academy. “This year we are inspired and challenged to once again take home the top honor in this industry renowned competition.”
Dorothy Wrightsman (@dwrightsman23) is an educator at Bellus Academy and will compete in the TrendVision USA #CreativeVision competition. Chloe Cheatwood (@chloe_does_hair) is a student at Bellus Academy’s Poway campus and will compete in the #student competition.
