Ted Gibson & Beauty Changes Lives
Hello, Lynelle Lynch from Bellus Academy and today I want to share with you a very exciting event that I hosted on behalf of all Beauty schools in America.
Last Tuesday night I had the distinct honor to introduce the acclaimed celebrity hairstylist Ted Gibson as the spokesman for BEAUTY CHANGES LIVES. Ted is the STAR of the realty show “What Not to Wear” and is the stylist to numerous celebrities. Ted’s role will be to raise the awareness of the extraordinary opportunities offered to those who choose a career in Beauty and Wellness.
We held a very chic party at Ted Gibson’s New York Salon and welcomed 140 media guests to formally unveil Ted’s new role as the Industry spokesman. The next day this was all over the Beauty blogs and Beauty Twitter accounts!!!!!!
I believe this National initiative will revolutionize the perception of a career in Beauty and Wellness!!!!!!
Last Friday night Ted was featured on the NBC Nightly news in New York. Set your TiVo to Ted Gibson to catch him being interviewed on a variety of TV talk shows in the near future as well as in your favorite magazines!
Beauty Changes Lives is a non-profit organization dedicated to raising funds to provide educational scholarships. It was created by the national association of Cosmetology schools (AACS). My role is the Chairman of Beauty Changes Lives and a Board member of AACS.
You can learn more about Beauty Changes Lives at the new web site www.beautychangeslives.org. Follow Ted Gibson on Beauty Changes Lives’ twitter, Facebook and You Tube pages.
