Traditional college is not for everyone. You don’t have to listen to the college recruiters that come to your high school and convince you that a traditional university or college is the only next step. You don’t have to “go with the flow” and follow your friends to their favorite post-secondary school.
You Are Not a Failure
Just because you tried college and hated it or you didn’t enroll at all, doesn’t mean you are a failure. Bellus Academy is for the student who likes to work with their hands. We’ve heard it before: “Cosmetology is a nice job for a person who doesn’t want a real job.” That is  simply not true. Cosmetology is a rewarding career in a booming industry. Cosmetology is a job for someone who wants to be creative, help people, and empower themselves and others around them. Cosmetology is for dreamers, artists and entrepreneurs.
You can learn this trade. All you need is the time and the passion. We can teach you the skills. We don’t believe that only bookwork makes anyone a better hairstylist, makeup artist or esthetician. We know that a diverse curriculum helps future beauty professionals become successful.
Do it for You
Don’t enroll in any college, trade school or university for someone else. Follow your dreams because you want to better yourself. Your education is a personal decision.
