Esthetics

Bellus Academy’s Esthetics trains students in fundamental skills in esthetics. The program covers foundational skin care techniques, along with business and customer service topics that will prove useful in future careers. Course subjects include:

Graduates of the Esthetics program are qualified to take the California esthetician licensing exam. A license is required to work as an esthetician in California.

• Night (6 months): Monday – Friday: 5:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.

For students who wish to further their education, Bellus Academy also offers Esthetics 103. This program features expanded courses covering luxury spa techniques. This program is designed to teach students the skills needed for employment with topics including:

Our Hybrid Learning Model

Bellus Academy is excited to offer our Esthetics program in a hybrid format that combines in-person and remote learning. Theory lessons are covered online, enabling more convenient scheduling. On entering the program, students receive an iPad, which provides access to our digital learning program.

Remote theory classes are coupled with hands-on training in our supervised Student Salon and Spa. Students are supervised by licensed professionals while serving real clients. This experience is an invaluable opportunity to practice techniques and develop customer service skills that estheticians rely on in their careers.
